프로젝트 HSP(Hate Seoul People)는 문화적으로 소외된 도시에서 성장한 청춘의 이야기를 그립니다. 서울로 집중된 문화에 대한 비판을 타이포그래피로 표현하며, 우리가 사랑하는 문화의 외침에 주목합니다.
HSP의 EP.1은 부서진 벽, 버려진 건물, 그리고 우리가 자란 소외된 구도심에 애정을 담고 있습니다.
[Ep1. Hate Seoul People or Highly Sensitive Person]은 서울을 싫어하는 사람 또는 매우 예민한 사람이라는 컨셉으로, 1995년 미국의 심리학자 일레인 아론 박사가 도입한 HSP(Highly Sensitive Person) 개념에서 영감을 받았습니다. 이들은 창의력이나 공감 능력은 뛰어나지만 쉽게 스트레스를 받고 지치거나 좌절할 수 있습니다.
앞만 보며 달려온 20대 청춘은 좌절하지 않기 위해 이야기를 써 내려갑니다. 우스꽝스러운 타이포그래피는 1990년대부터 2000년대의 빈티지 티셔츠에서 영감을 받았으며, 직역하면 "우리는 서울을 싫어해 서울 예쁜이들은 빼고.”
