묵산웨어(Mooksanwear)는 제 호인 '묵산 (먹의 산)'을 담아 만든 시리즈로, 제가 일하고 살아오는 스타일을 주제로 세상에 던지고픈 메시지, 어떠한 Work Ethic이나 Life Ethic을 담고자 했습니다. 참고로 '묵산'은 제가 갈고 갈아, 쓰고 쓰고, 만들고 만들어 쌓인 것들로 산을 이루겠다는 제 삶의 태도와 창작의 태도를 담은 호입니다. 저는 월등히 무언가에서 뛰어난 사람이 아니기에, 꾸준히 무언가를 만들고 도전하는 태도를 어쩔 수 없이 소거법에 의해 즐기며 살아가고 있습니다.
특히 이 상품은, 제 첫 설립회사인 FIVEWOLVES에 그 연을 두고 있습니다. 저는 어릴 때부터 늑대적 삶을 동경해왔습니다. 무리와 잘 어울리는듯 하지만, 사실 완벽히 어느 무리에도 동화되지 않고, 그럼에도 불구하고 무리를 이끄는 존재가 되며, 솔로와 듀오, 트리오, 팀등등 어떤 상황에서도 생존하고 압도할 수 있는 실력과 적응력이 있는 삶을 동경했습니다. 늑대가 가지고 있는 책임감과 가족을 챙기는 면모라던지, 1인자나 전면에 나서는 스피커를 자처하지 않는 모습도 매력적이었습니다. 그런 삶에 필요한건 늑대의 에고라고 생각했습니다.
이런 이기적이지만 결국 개인의 공명심과 이기심이 모든 조직과 공동체의 성장까지 이끄는 단어가 있다는 걸 마키아벨리와 시오노 나나미 선생님의 책을 읽고 알았습니다. Cattiveria (깍띠베리아 - 악의)라는 이탈리아어였습니다. 제 몸에도 새기고 살고 있는 소중한 단어가 되었습니다. 또 하나의 문신인 옷에도 표현해봅니다. 이제 와서는, 늙어죽고, 백골이 진토되어도 늑대로 살자는 그런 마음입니다.

If you order now, the manufacturing process begins on 12/24, and the goods are to be shipped out before 1/2.
