우리의 삶은 생일인 날보다는 생일이 아닌 평범한 날들로 이루어져있습니다.
그리고 우리의 하루가 처음부터 끝까지 즐겁고 기쁜 일들로 가득하지는 않습니다. 그것은 과거에도 그랬고, 앞으로도 그렇겠죠.

저는 제가 지나온 하루를 되돌아볼 때, 부정적인 기억만을 남기는 것은 마치 쓰레기들을 고스란히 내 방 안에 쌓아두는 것과 같다고 생각했어요.
그래서 저는 하루하루 내가 느끼는 감정들 중 저를 기쁘게 만든 것들을 기록하기 시작했습니다.
그것들은 때때로 아주 희귀한 이벤트가 되기도 하지만, 대체로 아주 사소합니다.
예를 들면, 제가 좋아하는 색깔의 양말 혹은 청포도맛 사탕 한 알.
아무리 지치고 힘든 순간이었어도, 우리에게 힘을 주는 것들은 이렇게도 사소한 것들입니다.

이 캐릭터 이름인 ‘Ahroo’는 ‘하루동안 겪는 내 모든 감정을 아우른다’는 것을 의미합니다.
‘Ahroo’는 ‘하루’를 뜻하는 한국어 ‘Haroo’에서 앞의 두글자의 순서를 바꾼 것입니다.
‘Ahroo’는 한국어 중에 ‘아우르다[Ah-oo-reu-da]’라는 단어와 발음이 비슷하죠.
‘아우르다’는 ‘여럿을 모아 한 덩어리가 되게 한다’라는 뜻입니다.

저는 하루동안 내가 겪은 모든 생각과 감정을 모두 모아, 그 중에서 미소짓게 만든 것들을 ‘Ahroo’를 통해 이야기하고자 합니다.

All people’s lives are made up of unbirthdays.
Our lives can look very different depending on our viewpoints.
They have been, and they will be.
 
I wanted to find the small happy moments in my daily life,
and I wished everyone could become a really happy person with my drawing and design work.
For this reason, I started recording the emotions I felt day by day that made me happy.
They are sometimes very rare events, but on the whole they are very trivial.
For example, one of my favorite colored socks or grape flavored candy.
Like this, no matter how tired and hard it was, the things that gave me strength were these trivial things.
 
The character's name, 'Ahroo,' means 'all my emotions throughout the day.'
Ahroo is a change in the order of the previous two letters from the Korean word "Haroo," which means "day."
"Ahroo" is similar in pronunciation to the word "Ah-oo-reu-da[아우르다]" in Korean.
"Ah-oo-reu-da[아우르다]" means "gathering several things together to become one."
 
I wanted to gather all my thoughts and feelings throughout the day
and talk about the things that made me smile through 'Ahroo.'
