심연의 얼굴(the face of Jesus)
<심연의 얼굴>은 예수님의 얼굴을 그려달라는 의뢰를 받고 고심하며 작업한 그림입니다. 눈으로 본 적은 없지만 마음으로 존재한다고 믿는 분의 모습을 표현한다는 것은 많은 고민을 하게했습니다. 특정 인물을 모사하여 그린다는 것은 맞지 않는 것 같았습니다. 그래서 다른 작업과 달리 밑그림 없이 형체를 잡아갔습니다.
믿음을 갖고 있는 사람이라면 누구나 마음 속 자신만의 신과 살아간다고 생각합니다. 어려움이 닥칠때 어디서든 도움을 청하게 되고 뜻하지 않은 행운에 잠시 감사기도를 하게됩니다. 그런 마음속 자신만의 신을 표현하기 위해 검은색 캔버스를 만드는 것으로 작업을 시작했고 거울지를 꼴라주해 바라보는 이의 모습이 반사될 수 있게 했습니다.
제가 경험했던 신앙은 위로 였습니다. 마음이 힘들어 스스로를 갉아먹을 때 저를 위로 했던 것은 노을지는 하늘의 오묘하게 물들어가는 빛과, 돋아나는 새싹의 연두빛이었습니다. 자연의 아름다움을 보면 마음이 회복되는게 느껴졌습니다. 그래서 심연의 얼굴을 자연의 색들을 떠올리며 표현했습니다.
Product Basic Info
It is a canvas cushion created by compensating for the weaknesses in the twill fabric. It feels soft, has a thick texture, and is quite durable.
It's made of a tightly woven 20'S canvas fabric.
It is soft as well as well-textured.
The size indicated is dependent on the size of the cotton filling used in cushions. The cover is manufactured about 2 cm larger than its true size.

Notice
- Depending on the lighting conditions at the shooting location, the product's color may appear distorted.
- White photos cannot be printed due to the nature of printing.
- For orders placed through the global website, compressed cotton is not included.
- Due to the replacement of Home & Décor products, the color of the new products may differ slightly from the old ones. Please remember to consider product production.
Washing Method
- For extended use, dry cleaning is advised.
- Use a neutral detergent and warm water (below 30'C) for washing items, and be sure to rinse everything well.
- When using a washing machine, wash each item separately on a wool course.
- After washing, dry it in the shade. Avoid using a dryer because it could cause the product to deform.

- A purchase order made by a minor may be cancelled by the same minor or his/her guardian if his/her guardian has not consented to such purchase.

All the goods are newly manufactured in custom order and delivered.
If you order now, the manufacturing process begins on 12/17, and the goods are to be shipped out before 12/24.

Exchange / Refund
All products delivered by MarppleShop are custom-made based on your order, so exchange/refund due to simple change of mind are not possible.
