깨진 거울이지만 반짝반짝 빛나는 거울이
난 너무 예뻤다. 나도 모르게 손을 대다가
날카로운 부분에 그만 베고 말았다.
다칠 수도 있다는 바람의 말이 생각났다.
다치고 나서도 거울 근처를 서성였다.
깨진 거울이 예쁜 거라면 진짜 원래의
거울은 더 예쁠 것 같은 기대가 있었다.
하지만 나는 또 다칠까 봐 두려웠다.
두려움에 거울을 제대로 볼 수 없었다.
눈을 제대로 뜨지 못한 상태에서
조심스럽게 조각에 손을 뻗어서
하나를 갖다 대 보았다.
잡은 조각에 손이 아팠지만 맞춘 부분이
반듯하게 녹아 들어가서 왠지 안심되었다.
